A Magic: The Gathering RCQ (Regional Championship Qualifier) event in Limited format combines Swiss rounds of Sealed Deck using The Hobbit expansion packs, followed by a Draft for the Top 8 to determine the qualified player(s). Tournament Structure
  • Sealed Deck Phase:
    • Each player opens their designated booster packs.
    • Players build a minimum 40-card deck using their specific card pool.
    • Swiss rounds are played to determine the overall standings.
  • Top 8 Draft Phase:
    • The top 8 players advance to a timed booster draft.
    • Players construct a new 40-card deck from their drafted cards.
    • Single-elimination bracket matches determine the ultimate RCQ winner.
