The Championship is the pinnacle event of the season, bringing together the top players from across the country.
Structure
The structure of the national championship scales with the number of qualified players. The more events are hosted, the more players qualify, and the bigger the prize pool becomes.

How many players qualify?
By default the top 32 players of the national leaderboard qualify. Additional qualification spots can be earned through the following ways:
- Each
event awards 1 qualification spot to the winner.
- The finals event of each
awards 1 qualification spot to the winner.
- Countries with many participating events may receive additional qualification spots for the national leaderboard.
Entry fee
To guarantee free entry at the , a minimum of 48 players must be qualified.
Otherwise a moderate entry fee will be charged to qualified players.
Format
The Constructed format will generally be Modern.
If another format is more popular in your country, organizers can request to change formats.
The Limited format will be Draft using Boosters from one of the latest Standard legal sets.
Byes
The top 4 or top 8 players of the leaderboard earn a bye (free win) for the first round of the Nationals.
Requirements
A Championship can only take place if the country reaches a minimum level of activity.
At least 10 and

events must be held in your country during the qualifying season to confirm it.

We're looking for an organizer that actively helps build the European Unity League ecosystem in their country.

The host manages the full organization of the championship, including:
- Securing a suitable venue.
- Hiring judges and coordinating the tournament schedule.
- Providing a strong selection of single cards & sealed products where players can redeem prize credit at the event.
- Running the event professionally and ensuring a great player experience.
Support by European Unity League
If 48 or more players qualify, the event can be financed by European Unity League.
The following expenses will be reimbursed after the event in a single payment:
- Venue costs
- Judge fees
- Prize credits
- Other required expenses
If fewer players qualify, the organizer needs to charge a moderate entry fee to help cover event costs.
Additionally European Unity League assists the organizer with communication, player registration and tournament software setup, allowing organizers to focus on running the tournament.
