Thomas started his Magic: The Gathering journey in 2006 with a booster pack from Betrayers of Kamigawa, featuring rat ninjas and samurai foxes. His focus evolved from casual Goblin decks to Limited and later to Modern, where he plays Burn, Martyr Life, 4c Omnath, and Boros Energy.

His achievements include two “Day Two” finishes at Grand Prix events and three Top 8 placements at the Swiss Magic Masters. Despite these successes, he more often enjoys casual Sealed or Cube Drafts at home with his wife and, in the future, his children.

Outside Magic, Thomas has been a longtime Dungeon Master for the German RPG Das Schwarze Auge. He also enjoys Age of Empires 2, fantasy literature and films, with The Lord of the Rings as a favorite, and works in his church’s youth group.
