European Magic Cup

The European Magic Cup is the grande finale of the European Unity League featuring €20'000 in prize credits. It will be hosted on February 21-22, 2026 in Bologna, Italy. Players participated all year in affiliated events to qualify for this special event.

Structure

• Any 3 qualified players can form a team together (multinational allowed).
• If you don't have a team we will help you find other team members.

Main event will be free entry. If you don't wish to participate in the main event, you will get a free ticket to our 4k Modern Open on Sun 22.02.2026, 10:00. More info about this and other side events will be posted as soon as possible.

Schedule

Day 1: Sat 21.02.2026, 9:00-20:00

• 3 Swiss rounds: Team Sealed (Lorwyn Eclipsed)
• 5 Swiss rounds: Team Trios (Modern, Pauper, Standard)

Day 2: Sun 22.02.2026, 9:00-17:00

• Top 8: Double elimination Team Trios (Modern, Pauper, Standard)

Prizes

• 1st: €5100
• 2nd: €3000
• 3rd/4th: €2100
• 5th-8th: €1200
• 9th-12th: €750
• Total: €20100

*Prizes are for the whole team and offered in credits redeemable at stores at the venue. We ensure, that favorable card prices are offered.

Registration

Qualified players can register a team or request help in finding team members here: unityleague.gg/forms/european-cup/register

It's enough if one team member registers the whole team.

Seating

• In Team Sealed players can choose their seating order during registration as A, B, or C. Player B will sit in the middle and each player will play against the opponent of the same letter of the other team.
• In Team Trios Constructed the seating order will be defined by the format (Modern, Standard, Pauper). You will always play against the player of the same format.

Decklists

• For the Team Trios Constructed the decklists will need to be submitted online before Friday, 20th February 2026, 20:00. Constructed portion will be played with open decklists.
• For Team Sealed, players will need to build 3 decks from their pool of 12 boosters and fill out a paper decklist on site.

Accommodation

We have a special rate for rooms at the venue Hotel Airport Bologna. Participants must write to info@airporthotelbologna.it and state that they are attending the EUL-MOLE event, requesting the special rate.
